I did the measuring and my husband wrote the details in the quoting section. We had a black galaxy granite in mind and added the sink cut outs and profiles. I wanted to buy an unusual granite called Labradorite for my Kitchen worktops. I was struggling to get companies to quote for me. After listing the job on worktop compare I had 11 quotes within 4 days, without  wasting time  repeating  the specifications over and over and finding granite fabricators in Lancashire who could supply the stone. In my busy showroomin Cheshire time is money. I have Zirconium Silestone worktop and Zeus white Silestone splashbacks on display  so I supply Silestone Worktops when asked for a Quartz  worktop. I only use Silestone approved fabricator suppliers of which this site seems has many. The time I save by using this site makes it worthwhile. The money I save makes it an invaluable tool.

I chose a granite called Anticato Verdi Fontaine for my kitchen worktop from a local granite worktop Fabricator in London and received a quote. I then asked other local companies to quote for me, they seemed to find getting the stone a problem, and getting more quotes was time consuming and fruitless. I put my request on worktop compare and got 7 prices emailed to me within 6 days without any more input from me. I received a £1,250  worktop saving which was perfect. When I asked the granite company why they were so much cheaper, it transpired they had only to buy 1 slab of stone extra as they had some in stock already remaining from another job.
